This role requires specific skills and responsibilities to ensure effective facility management and high-quality resident care. Purpose of your position The primary purpose of your position is to manage all business-related activities to achieve Solaris HealthCare's vision and support strategies and assures that the company image as an ethical and high-quality provider of health services is developed and maintained. Primary duties and responsibilities Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing, medical, social, food, rehabilitation, and recreation services to enhance resident care and quality of life. Manage financial operations, including contracts, audits, compliance, and asset protection. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and maintain resident rights in all aspects of care. Develop and oversee quality assurance programs, health information management, and pharmaceutical services. Establish and enforce policies and procedures to optimize resident care and facility operations. Oversee recruitment, retention, and staff development programs to enhance job satisfaction and resident care. Ensure HR policies and programs comply with regulations and support cultural diversity. Implement workplace safety, health, and wellness programs in accordance with OSHA and risk management standards. Develop and manage annual budgets for optimal resource use. Implement financial policies and systems to monitor performance. Secure revenue through diverse funding sources. Train staff in financial management practices. Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Implement and evaluate safety, emergency, and quality assurance programs. Develop and enforce environmental policies while ensuring regulatory compliance. Establish a preventative maintenance program to uphold facility standards.
Administrative Leadership Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor policies to ensure regulatory compliance and effective facility operations. Oversee program outcomes, surveys, and corrective actions to maintain quality care and licensing. Educate staff, residents, families, and governing entities on compliance and responsibilities. Manage risk, legal liability, and strategic planning for facility sustainability. Foster leadership development and professional growth among staff. Ensure resources, technology, and information systems support operations and resident care. Develop marketing, media relations, and community partnerships. Monitor and engage in the political landscape to advocate for facility interests. Education and Experience Licensed in Florida or certified as a Medicare/Medicaid provider. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities. College degree in business or human resources preferred; high school diploma required. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws. Professional, polished demeanor.
