In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, foster a safe and nurturing environment, and manage staff and resources efficiently. Your leadership will directly impact residents' well-being, independence, and overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while utilizing your management expertise in a rewarding setting. Duties Lead the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including memory care and dementia support strategies. Supervise and motivate staff members, including caregivers, nursing assistants, and support personnel, ensuring they deliver compassionate, professional care. Oversee daily operations of the group home, including scheduling, budgeting, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document all medication-related activities meticulously. Coordinate with healthcare professionals such as nurses, social workers, and physicians to ensure comprehensive resident care. Maintain detailed records related to resident progress, incident reports, care plans, and regulatory compliance documentation. Foster a warm community environment that promotes residents' independence while providing necessary support for their physical and emotional needs. Experience Proven management experience within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes specializing in developmental disabilities or senior care. Extensive background in long-term care operations management with a focus on dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable. Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of home & community care practices along with familiarity in budgeting and financial management within healthcare settings. Knowledge of medication administration protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements for assisted living or retirement homes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized memory care is essential. Excellent communication skills combined with social work insight to support residents' emotional well-being while maintaining compliance with all legal standards.
