Urgently Hiring Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adults with Disability Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility serving adults with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in disability services, long-term care, and management, with a passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care. This leadership role requires expertise in care planning, regulatory compliance, and team supervision to ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for residents. Duties Manage the overall operation of the group home, ensuring compliance with all relevant health regulation policies and long-term care regulations. Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs, including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support strategies. Supervise and lead care staff by providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and professional team. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and adherence to healthcare standards. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, incident reports, and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Office tools. Coordinate with healthcare professionals and community resources to support residents' health and well-being. Manage facility budgets, financial management tasks, and healthcare financial management to optimize operational efficiency. Ensure the home operates within all licensing requirements for assisted living and residential care facilities while fostering a positive environment that promotes residents' independence and dignity. Experience Proven management experience within disability services or residential care homes with a focus on adults with disabilities. Extensive nursing home experience or nursing leadership background preferred; familiarity with long-term care administration essential. Demonstrated expertise in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory support programs, and resident-centered approaches. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies related to long-term care facilities and assisted living environments. Supervising experience managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or home & community care settings. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health needs such as dementia or memory impairment. Competence in healthcare financial management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource allocation. Familiarity with home & community care practices as well as residential care home operations is highly desirable.
