The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and organized Certified Dietary Manager What You Will Do Oversee and manage the daily operations of the food service department Ensure proper preparation and service of therapeutic diets in compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards Complete assigned sections of the MDS and participate in developing and revising dietary care plans Plan and adjust menus to meet the nutritional needs of residents, including consultant review and follow-up on dietary recommendations Monitor and assess resident weights upon admission, monthly, and during any significant change in condition Set and manage performance standards for food service delivery, optimizing efficiency, quality, and satisfaction Ensure proper resource planning, cost control, and operational processes within the department Supervise and support dietary staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and hospitality Duties as assigned What You Must Have Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting Knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory dietary standards, and infection control procedures ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent Certified Food Manager or Certified Dietary Manager Required Benefits - Things we want you to know We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) managed by Merrill Lynch DailyPay Health Insurance with Anthem Blue Cross or Cigna Dental, Life, Vision, and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Continuing Education Credits Career advancement opportunities!
