Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the home health agency, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery Supervise nursing staff and healthcare professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team Coordinate patient care plans by collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to deliver personalized treatment strategies Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and state licensing standards Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to document patient information accurately and securely Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, implementing best practices, and monitoring outcomes to enhance patient safety and satisfaction Conduct regular audits of medical records, medical terminology accuracy, and documentation standards to maintain regulatory compliance Oversee utilization management, case management processes, and budgeting activities to optimize resource use and operational efficiency Skills Extensive experience in critical care environments such as ICU, Level I Trauma Center, or Level II Trauma Center settings Proven supervisory experience managing healthcare teams within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or hospice care settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and productivity software essential for healthcare operations management Skilled in nursing leadership with a focus on nurse management, staff development, and performance optimization Experience in managing home health agencies or home care services with an emphasis on quality improvement leadership Ability to navigate complex healthcare regulations related to hospice care, acute care, emergency medicine, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room), and utilization management Competence in budgeting, operations management, case management processes, and healthcare staff management Join us as we strive to provide compassionate care that transforms lives.
