Duties Provide strategic leadership for the home health agency, including staff management, operational oversight, and quality improvement initiatives. Supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, licensing requirements, and best practices in patient care. Oversee patient care coordination, case management, and utilization management to optimize resource use and enhance patient experiences. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid standards, and state licensing requirements. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Lead quality assurance efforts by analyzing data, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage budgets, staffing levels, and productivity software to ensure operational efficiency and financial sustainability. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current licensure in the relevant state. Extensive Operations experience in Medical, Skilled Home Care Agency. Proven supervisory or nurse management experience within a home health agency or similar healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance regulations such as HIPAA. Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement initiatives and healthcare staff management. Experience with EMR/EHR systems and proficiency in productivity software for operations management. Background in hospice care, assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee case management, utilization review, budgeting, and operations effectively.
