Job Summary:

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the community including providing leadership and supervision to all departments while achieving desired outcomes that are in the best interest of the residents and associates.

Executive Director key responsibilities include:

Completes annual training for all staff as required by state law, supervision, and monitoring of associates in the administration of direct care within the community. Provides care for residents if needed. Works with the Sales and Marketing Director carrying out the annual marketing strategy to achieve monthly occupancy goals and meet operating budget. Performs ongoing assessment/observation of residents' physical and health needs and coordinates with other departments to assure resident's needs are being met and exceeded. Hires, trains and facilitates care associates to care for our residents in accordance with state and company policy and procedures. Operates the community within capital budget standards Assists in developing and implementing service plan reviews, as required by state regulations, with designated associates. Provides training and education to resident care associates on an ongoing basis with classroom in-services, and situation-specific training. Assigns and directs work of subordinates; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsible for all operations, acting as contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies and the public Servant leader who supervises and motivates associates setting positive examples. Responsible for maintaining the facility and grounds to ensure everything is in good working order. Works with approved vendors to ensure all life safety systems are functional and operating up to state and company standards.

Required skills and qualifications:
