About the Nursing Home Administrator Role As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you are the heart of the facility and play a critical role in the success of our residents and team. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility while developing a positive, accountable, and inclusive culture. You will partner with nursing, human resources, admissions, business office, dietary, environmental services, activities, social services, and other department leaders to ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing overall leadership and operational oversight of the skilled nursing facility Building and maintaining a positive employee and resident culture Establishing and achieving facility-wide operational and clinical goals Supporting employee recruitment, engagement, development, and retention Partnering with clinical leadership to promote quality resident care Maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal long-term care regulations Supporting census growth, financial performance, and operational success Developing strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners Identifying challenges and implementing creative, effective solutions Qualifications To be considered, applicants should have: A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field A current, unencumbered Iowa Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) Knowledge of skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare operations, and regulatory compliance Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator, Executive Director, Assistant Administrator, or Department Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred; however, we are willing to invest in the right candidate who demonstrates strong leadership ability and a passion for long-term care.
