Job Description

Overview Embassy Rehab & Care Center, located in Sergeant Bluff, IA, is currently searching for an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee our skilled nursing facility. Operating a nursing facility requires big-picture thinking with attention to detail. You will manage a team, interact with residents and families, oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility and make decisions that ensure everything runs smoothly. We are looking for an LNHA who knows that effective leadership begins with quality care - an Administrator who knows their team, communicates effectively, doesn't shy away from challenges and expects great things while providing the tools for their team to exceed expectations. As LNHA, you will be responsible for all operations at Embassy Rehab & Care Center from staffing and regulatory compliance to financial results, resident satisfaction and quality of care. You will work with department heads and our corporate support team and will have the opportunity to utilize your leadership skills and experience at the facility level. If you are an experienced long term care leader who likes to build a great team and isn't afraid to step in if things don't go as planned, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care. Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans that address residents' needs. Maintain thorough documentation for reports, resident records, and regulatory compliance records. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to health regulation policies. Lead efforts in managing resident relations by fostering a respectful atmosphere that prioritizes dignity and personalized attention for each individual. Qualifications Proven experience in nursing home administration or senior living facility management with a strong understanding of long-term care regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or residential settings. Background in healthcare financial management, budgeting, and resource planning within a long-term care environment. Familiarity with managing care facility teams and supervising nursing staff while ensuring compliance with health policies.
