Job Summary:
The Administrator leads and directs the overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs, federal and state government regulations and company policies/procedures so as to maintain quality care for the residents while achieving the facility's business objectives.
Skills and Competencies necessary:
1. Knowledge and expertise in management of a long-term care facility 2.
Experience and skill in:
Leadership and mentoring. Development and implementation of a facility management system. Administration, management, supervision and coordination of all departments to ensure appropriate care. Use of computers and other technological resources. Oversight of a facility quality assurance process. Financial management of a health care facility. 3. Knowledge of pertinent local, state, federal and other regulations and ability to implement and maintain compliance with these regulations governing the facility, patient/resident care, and reimbursement. 4. Experience in developing professional relationships and representing the facility in professional and community activities. 5. Participation in educational programs for continued professional development.
Requirements:
Active Nursing Home Administrator License in the State of Illinois This is a Full-Time Salaried position.
