Job Description

Americare Senior Living seeks a Nursing Home Administrator to lead daily operations in a resident-centered, senior care community. This role oversees regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement to ensure safe, compassionate care. The Administrator partners with clinical and support teams, builds strong relationships with residents and families, and fosters a culture of dignity, respect, and teamwork. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership in long-term care, survey readiness expertise, and a passion for person-centered senior living in a mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the nursing home to ensure safe, high-quality resident care Ensure compliance with CMS and state long-term care regulations and survey readiness Develop and manage operating budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation Lead, mentor, and evaluate interdisciplinary staff, fostering a resident-centered culture Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Maintain strong communication and relationships with residents, families, and community partners Manage risk, safety, and infection control programs in alignment with policies Develop, update, and enforce facility policies, procedures, and standards of practice Collaborate with clinical leaders to support care planning and service coordination Analyze operational data and outcomes to drive continuous improvement Required Skills Long-term care operations management Regulatory compliance (CMS/state) Budgeting and financial management Staff leadership and scheduling Quality assurance and performance improvement Risk management and safety oversight Resident relations and family communication Electronic health record (EHR) systems Policy and procedure development Survey readiness and corrective action planning
