Job Description

Kensington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA). The Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the facility. The Administrator develops, plans, directs, and monitors all operational, administrative, clinical, human resources, and fiscal activities for the facility's services and programs. Applicant must possess strong leadership, management, and organizational skills.
Administrator Job Duties:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct all aspects of facility operations. Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc. related to facility operations. Has principal concern for the delivery of quality patient care to all residents of the facility. Has responsibility and concern for public relations with patient families and community. Coordinates programs between various departments in the facility. Participates in all facility surveys and in the writing of the plan of corrections to the statement of deficiencies. Participates in the interview for admission of patients. Approves payroll related requests in compliance with established policies. Serves on the facility's Quality Assurance Committee. Has administrative responsibility for supervision of orientation of all new employees. Reviews and approves all departments work schedules. Coordinates the purchase of all supplies, services, and capital expenditures of the facility and gives final approval to such purchases. Monitors all accounts receivable and has responsibility with their maintenance and their collection. Compiles a written report relating to the overall activities of the facility each month. Responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and schedule for department. Participate in facility committees and audits, as needed.
Administrator Requirements:
Must have valid Kentucky Nursing Home Administrator License. Minimum of two years Nursing Home Administrator experience preferred. Administrator Benefits•: We offer a comprehensive benefit package.
