Home Manager (Group Home Supervisor)

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Position Overview Westside Habilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a group home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring quality care, maintaining appropriate staffing, and supporting both clients and staff in a structured, safe, and person-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the group home to ensure a safe, clean, and structured environment Supervise and support direct care staff, including scheduling, coaching, and accountability Ensure staffing coverage is arranged in advance and maintained at all times Monitor client care to ensure services align with individualized plans and regulatory standards Conduct routine walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance Coordinate appointments, transportation, and community outings for clients Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and required reports Communicate effectively with supervisors, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members Address incidents, behavioral concerns, and staff performance issues in a timely and professional manner Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state regulations Qualifications Experience in healthcare, social services, or a group home setting preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage schedules, staffing, and multiple priorities Effective communication and leadership abilities Valid driver's license (required) Must have Certified Medication Attendant (CMA) certification Must have Chauffeur's License Work Environment Active role requiring standing, walking, and engagement throughout the home Direct interaction with clients, including individuals who may exhibit behavioral challenges Fast-paced environment requiring leadership and decision-making Why Join Westside?
