Milton, MA Job Details Temporary $50 - $60 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications RN License Assisted living experience HIPAA Records management Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Overview We are seeking an experienced Assisted Living Director of Resident Care and Service Coordination ready to step in and manage our assisted living units at our Winter Valley property on a short term basis (three to four months). Responsible for the overall health care management of the residence (16 units) while overseeing the Residents' activities of daily living. The Director of Resident Care and Service Coordination is responsible for all healthcare operations including: safety standards, quality assurance, infection control, admissions, service referrals and special projects. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of resident care services, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to assisted living standards. Monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, preferences, and medical conditions. Schedule and supervise PCA's, providing guidance on clinical best practices, documentation review, and effective shift management. Ensure proper management of medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication among healthcare providers, including nursing administration, home health agencies, hospice providers, and specialists in memory care or acute care settings. Conduct assessments of residents' physiology and anatomy when necessary to inform personalized care strategies while respecting residents' rights. Lead staff training on required training for staff development. Retain required records and documentation and submit when necessary for compliance with Assisted Living statues. Promote a culture of compassionate patient care by supporting nursing leadership in managing care facility teams effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in assisted living settings with a strong background in nursing home or long-term care environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing resident care programs within regulated assisted living communities. Supervising experience with a focus on scheduling and shift management. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with healthcare providers and educating staff on compliance standards. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field; current RN license preferred; additional certifications in assisted living.
