Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing home operations, regulatory compliance, and senior care services. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee daily facility management, ensure high-quality resident care, and foster a positive environment for residents and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives while ensuring operational excellence across all departments. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with federal and state regulations related to long-term care. Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support services. Supervise and lead multidisciplinary teams comprising nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative personnel to ensure high standards of resident care and staff performance. Maintain thorough knowledge of health regulation policies and ensure the facility adheres to all licensing requirements and safety standards. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, financial planning, and healthcare financial management to ensure fiscal responsibility. Foster a resident-centered environment that respects residents' rights and promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration, disability services, and home & community care programs. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, staff scheduling, and communication purposes. Promote continuous staff development through training in dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and managing care facility teams effectively. Requirements Valid licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator with appropriate state certification or licensing credentials. Extensive experience in nursing home administration or long-term care management with a strong background in senior living facilities or assisted living environments. Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in healthcare or residential care settings. In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations, health policy compliance, and resident rights legislation. Familiarity with managing care plans for residents with dementia or developmental disabilities; experience in Alzheimer's and memory care is highly desirable. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial management, and healthcare financial planning. Excellent organizational skills complemented by proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a focus on quality resident outcomes. Experience working with individuals requiring disability services or specialized memory support is advantageous. Pay:
$140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
