Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Home Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our group homes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of long-term care, mental health, and senior living services. As a Group Home Supervisor, you will lead a team of caregiving professionals, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a nurturing environment that respects residents' rights and promotes quality of life. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of caregiving staff, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety. Ensure compliance with all long-term care regulations, health policies, and licensing requirements. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners while advocating for residents' rights and dignity. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Office tools. Lead staff training initiatives focused on behavior management, and resident-centered approaches to enhance team competency. Qualifications Proven experience in long-term care settings such as group homes. Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's disease management, and memory care practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or senior living environments. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies. Take clients to shopping and appointments Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
