We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience managing, supervising, or overseeing operations within a Minnesota assisted living facility . The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of Minnesota assisted living requirements and practical experience preparing for and participating in MDH surveys and inspections. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with facility ownership, the Assisted Living Director, Registered Nurse, and direct-care staff to establish strong operational systems, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote high-quality resident care. This is a part-time leadership position of approximately 20 hours per week. The preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, or 1:00 PM-4:00 PM with some scheduling flexibility. Key Responsibilities Provide operational and compliance leadership for the assisted living program. Help establish, review, and maintain systems designed to comply with Minnesota assisted living laws, regulations, and MDH requirements. Maintain facility readiness for MDH surveys, inspections, and regulatory reviews. Conduct internal compliance reviews and mock surveys and identify areas requiring corrective action. Review resident records, assessments, service documentation, agreements, and other required records for completeness and regulatory compliance. Review employee records, orientation, training, competency documentation, and other personnel compliance requirements. Work closely with the Assisted Living Director and RN regarding resident services, medication-management systems, incidents, changes in condition, and required documentation. Assist the leadership team with resident admissions and review admission documentation for regulatory completeness. Monitor required reports, notifications, logs, policies, procedures, and regulatory deadlines. Identify potential compliance deficiencies and help leadership develop and implement corrective actions. Provide guidance, education, and mentoring to staff regarding documentation, resident rights, safety, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. Help develop efficient operational and quality-management systems as the facility grows. Qualifications Prior management, administrative, compliance, or supervisory experience in a Minnesota assisted living facility . Strong working knowledge of Minnesota assisted living regulations and MDH requirements . Direct experience preparing for or participating in MDH surveys or inspections strongly preferred . Experience reviewing resident and employee records for regulatory compliance. Knowledge of assisted living admissions, service documentation, medication-management processes, incident reporting, staff training, and quality management. Strong organizational, documentation, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify compliance risks and assist with corrective-action processes. Ability to collaborate effectively with an Assisted Living Director, RN, owners, direct-care staff, residents, and families.
