Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
• Create and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability of the facility
• Coordinate with medical professionals to provide quality care to residents
• Monitor medication administration and ensure proper protocols are followed
• Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to address the needs of residents
• Implement programs and activities to enhance the overall well-being of residents
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Skills:

• Strong financial acumen to effectively manage budgets and financial resources
• Extensive knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of healthcare professionals
• Proficient in budgeting and resource allocation
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols in a nursing home setting
• Understanding of senior care principles and best practices
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire staff members
• Knowledge of social work principles for addressing the emotional needs of residents
• Understanding of home care and memory care services
