Embassy of Morehead City is a brand-new skilled nursing facility on the beautiful coast of Morehead City, North Carolina , and we are seeking an experienced, driven Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our facility into its exciting first chapter. This is not an opportunity to inherit someone else's culture — it's an opportunity to build one. As our LNHA, you will have the unique opportunity to help launch a new facility, develop a high-performing leadership team, establish strong operational standards, build relationships within the Morehead City community, and create a culture centered around exceptional resident care. We are looking for a leader who understands the skilled nursing industry, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to balance clinical excellence, employee engagement, census development, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. What You'll Do Provide overall leadership and operational direction for the facility Recruit, develop, and retain a strong facility leadership team Establish a positive, accountable, and resident-focused workplace culture Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to ensure exceptional quality of care Oversee facility operations, including clinical outcomes, staffing, census, financial performance, and regulatory compliance Develop strong relationships with hospitals, referral partners, physicians, families, and the surrounding community Drive census development and position Embassy of Morehead City as a trusted provider in the local healthcare market Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve operational and clinical outcomes Lead by example and maintain a visible, engaged presence with residents, families, and employees What We're Looking For Active North Carolina Nursing Home Administrator license required Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator/LNHA strongly preferred Strong knowledge of skilled nursing operations and regulatory requirements Proven leadership and team-building abilities Experience with census development, staffing, financial management, and quality improvement Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to build relationships with residents, families, employees, referral partners, and community stakeholders A hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of accountability and urgency Why Embassy of Morehead City?
