Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing home operations, regulatory compliance, and senior care services. This role requires strong leadership, management expertise, and a passion for providing high-quality care to residents. As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee daily facility operations, ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, and foster a supportive environment for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, including staff supervision, resident care, and administrative functions. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local long-term care regulations and health policies. Develop and oversee care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory care services. Supervise nursing leadership and care teams to maintain high standards of nursing practice and resident safety. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, and healthcare financial oversight to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain thorough documentation of resident records, medication administration, and regulatory reports. Promote resident rights and dignity by fostering a respectful environment that emphasizes person-centered care. Collaborate with community resources and disability services to support residents' diverse needs. Lead staff recruitment, training programs, and performance evaluations to build a competent and motivated team. Monitor facility operations including health regulation policy adherence, safety protocols, and quality assurance initiatives. Skills Extensive experience in nursing home administration with a strong background in long-term care operations management. Proven leadership skills with supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in senior living or residential care settings. Deep knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's disease management, memory care strategies, and resident's rights. Proficiency in developing care plans that address complex needs such as disability services and developmental disabilities. Familiarity with healthcare financial management including budgeting, billing processes, and financial acumen. Strong understanding of state and federal long-term care regulations as well as health policy compliance requirements. Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Experience working with individuals requiring assisted living or home & community care services. Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities to coordinate between staff members and external agencies. Knowledge of medication administration procedures within a regulated healthcare environment.
