General Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the assigned residential program including the hiring, supervising, and disciplining of direct care and ancillary staff. Ensure compliance with all DDD regulations and J-ADD policies at all times. Work alongside the clinical team to ensure that the consumers' needs and choices are met. Oversees all consumer-related procedures and responsibilities including but not limited to medical issues, financial matters, programmatic concerns and documentation thereof, and all other matters related to the safety and wellbeing of the individuals living in the home. Required to carry out direct care responsibilities as a routine part of the job when necessary. Is responsible for the maintenance of a safe and clean physical environment at all times. Ensures that all administrative responsibilities of the home are attended to.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent or AA degree. Must be 21 years of age or older, possess a current New Jersey non-probationary driver's license in good standing. Must be physically able to support individuals in all areas of need including lifting. Must satisfactorily pass checks of criminal background, the central registry, and the child abuse registry and drug testing and have a minimum of 1-year experience in field.
