Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, and seniors requiring assisted living. Duties Lead and supervise staff members to deliver exceptional care aligned with individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs of Traumatic Brain Injuries. Oversee daily operations of the group home, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's unique requirements, including medication administration and health monitoring. Manage budgets, oversee financial records, and ensure proper resource allocation to maintain high-quality service delivery within operational parameters. Foster a positive environment by promoting teamwork, staff development, and ongoing training in areas such as social work practices, home & community care experience, and management skills. Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously; conduct regular inspections of the facility and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents involving residents or staff. Maintain open communication with residents' families and healthcare providers to coordinate care effectively and address concerns proactively. Experience Proven management experience within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes with a strong understanding of senior care and memory support services. Extensive background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Traumatic Brain Injury. Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee care plans that incorporate medical needs like medication administration alongside social work principles. Prior supervisory experience supervising staff in home & community care settings or retirement homes is essential. Strong operational management skills including budgeting, financial acumen, compliance adherence, and team leadership. Long-term care experience coupled with familiarity in managing resident's (personalized resident profiles) is highly desirable. Knowledge of assisted living regulations, medication protocols, and safety standards required for effective facility management.
