Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility. Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary leadership team to promote strong clinical outcomes and quality resident care. Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain department leaders while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Maintain compliance with all applicable CMS, Ohio Department of Health, federal, state, and local regulations . Maintain continuous survey readiness and lead the facility through regulatory surveys, plans of correction, and quality improvement initiatives. Monitor facility performance, including census, staffing, labor, agency utilization, quality measures, Five-Star performance, financial results, and resident satisfaction . Develop and execute strategies to improve census, admissions, and community presence. Build strong relationships with hospitals, referral partners, physicians, residents, families, and community organizations. Oversee facility financial performance, including budgeting, labor management, expenses, accounts receivable, and operational efficiency. Lead daily operational meetings and ensure department leaders are accountable for established goals and action plans. Identify operational and clinical opportunities and implement measurable plans for improvement. Promote employee engagement, recognition, retention, and a positive workplace culture. Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure appropriate staffing levels while working collaboratively with nursing, HR, and recruiting teams to reduce reliance on agency staffing. Maintain a strong presence throughout the facility and remain accessible to residents, families, and employees. Ensure policies, procedures, and company standards are consistently implemented across all departments. Qualifications Active Ohio Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required. Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, Five-Star Quality Rating System, and Ohio nursing home requirements . Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams. Experience managing facility financial performance, labor, staffing, and census development. Strong understanding of quality measures, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance clinical quality, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.
