Role and Responsibilities:
- As the Dietary Director, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing a well-balanced and appetizing menu that meets the dietary needs of our residents.
Your key responsibilities include:
1.Menu Planning:
- Develop and plan nutritious menus that cater to the dietary requirements and preferences of our residents. Collaborate with nutritionists to ensure meals meet high standards of health and wellness. 2.
Kitchen Management:
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to maintain quality and safety standards. 3.
Budget Oversight:
- Manage the dietary budget effectively, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising on quality. 4.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about and adhere to health and safety regulations and dietary guidelines. Collaborate with relevant authorities during inspections. 5.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to address individual dietary needs and restrictions. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and staff to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of dietary regulations and guidelines. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
