Job Description

If you excel at working independently as well as with a team, have an eye for detail and mechanical background in troubleshooting, we are looking for you! We are currently working 12 hour shifts, 6am- 6:30pm with rotating days off. Mon- Wed one week and Mon-Thursday the following week. This position is for 1st Shift. If you can't work this shift, please do not apply. Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check
Position Summary:
This position ensures the efficient and safe operation of production equipment that supports the needs of foam molding production.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in manufacturing / production environment Good interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
 Working knowledge/experience in manufacturing processes and preventive/predictive maintenance
Competencies:
Detail oriented Effective time management skills Technical capacity Organizational skills Problem solving skills Teamwork Oriented Forklift operator certification
Essential Functions:
Ensures safe operation of assigned equipment. Completes all Pre-Expansion documentation. Conducts Weekly Inventory counts of all material. (Shop Floor, Silos and Trailers) Responsible for the completion of all applicable reports and forms. Conducts weekly inventory of raw material Maintains cleanliness of work area according to 6S program. Verify that all safety requirements are adhered to. Report any safety infractions to the supervisor or manager. Participates on teams / committees as requested. Must have the ability to work in above and below normal temperatures. Other duties as necessary and as assigned by supervisor.
