Summary As a Home Manager at A Steady Hand, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Located in North Columbus, this position is essential to our mission of delivering compassionate care and support, making a meaningful difference in our clients' daily lives. Responsibilities Provide compassionate personal care and support to a very active woman with disabilities. Help individual schedule and attend her activities and medical appointments. Assist her with daily living activities, including medication, making good choices, and meal preparation. Monitor and document her health and behavior, ensuring safety and well-being. Administer first aid as needed and maintain awareness of client medical needs. Encourage her to engage in social activities. promote her independence and enhance her quality of life. Manage and collaborate with other team members at the site, as well as provide oversight of her schedule and serve as a sub in times that other staff are unable to work their shifts. Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times. Maintain and coordinate all benefits. Communicate effectively with her guardian and healthcare professionals regarding her progress. Qualifications Experience in home care or group home settings with supervisory experience is preferred. Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support for individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of first aid procedures and patient observation techniques is essential. Ability to assist clients with daily living tasks compassionately and effectively. Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with individuals, families, and team members. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed to meet client needs.
