Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant House Manager to join our dedicated long-term care team. This vital role supports the overall management of our I/DD adult foster home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care while maintaining compliance with health regulations and operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a caring team, oversee daily operations, and contribute to creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our residents. On-call on a bi-weekly basis Duties Assist in managing daily facility operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments such as caregiving and administration Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to residents' individual needs. Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on delivering high-quality services to the individual we serve. Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards while maintaining accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare guidelines and resident rights Monitor facility budgets, assist with financial management tasks, and support healthcare financial oversight to optimize resource allocation Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate resident assessments, discharge planning, and community engagement activities. Help plan and fulfill activities in the community. Qualifications Proven experience in I/DD environments, with a strong background in long-term care management. Extensive knowledge of care plans and support strategies, and resident's rights within healthcare/longterm care settings Demonstrated supervisory experience leading care teams in residential or home & community care facilities Familiarity with long-term care regulations, health policy compliance, and healthcare financial management principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage operations effectively Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intelectual disabilities.
