The Executive Director will be a high energy, team oriented, inspiring leader who will build outstanding and professional working relationships with the management team and consistently lead each department to success. The Executive Director will direct operations in accordance with the policies, procedures, mission, and philosophy of senior living and be a positive motivator that encourages employees and holds them accountable to provide exceptional services. This is a leadership role and expected to demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
Current Oregon ALF/RCF Administrator license (required) Experience as an Executive Director inAssisted Living Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the safety and well-being of the residents in accordance with company philosophy and standards of care. Supervise all department heads and ensure staff recruiting and retention efforts are acceptable. Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and visitors. Maintain a high level of occupancy. Oversee and ensure budgeting for all departments. Assist in community marketing including developing relationships with local referral sources. Represent the community with confidence and leadership attributes. Encourage teamwork, promote a positive work environment. Provide counseling services to residents and families regarding issues including family communication, coping with stress, role changes, and coming to terms with the end of life. Maintain knowledge of state regulations, Advance Directives, POA/DPOA issues and other related topics. All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory background and reference checks.
