If you've been a Resident Care Director, Director of Nursing, or Health & Wellness Director in assisted living or memory care, you've built something most nurses never do: a working command of resident care, state regulation, staff development, and survey readiness, all at once. There aren't many places to put that expertise to full use. This is one of them. As a Regional Clinical Specialist with Allen Flores Consulting Group, you're the clinical partner our client communities rely on. We support over 1,000 senior living communities nationwide, and great operators bring us in precisely because they take clinical quality seriously — you'll be working alongside teams who want the help. And you'll do it without managing a single staff schedule. What you'll actually do Conduct clinical audits of assisted living and memory care communities — nursing practice, infection control, medication management, safety, physical environment, and regulatory readiness. Lead entrance and exit conferences with community leadership — you present findings and recommendations directly to the people who can act on them. Educate and coach direct care staff and managers, one-on-one and in groups, on clinical policy, resident care, and documentation. Support EHR and eMAR deployments — helping communities get their clinical systems working the way they should. Step into interim Wellness Director coverage during transitions, so residents don't feel the gap. Contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives. Our scheduling follows our clients' needs, planned one week at a time. You may not know your next assignment until Friday for the following Monday. That takes real flexibility, and it's not for everyone.

The travel:

When regional work is light, we'll fly you to assignments in other states. Expect meaningful travel with overnight stays. We issue company Visa cards for flights, hotels, and work expenses — you are never fronting money and waiting on a reimbursement check. If short-notice scheduling would be a problem for you, this isn't the right fit, and we'd rather both of us know that now. What you need Active Oregon RN license , or eligibility for Minnesota licensure by endorsement. Real assisted living or memory care experience. This is the requirement that matters most. AL/MC regulation, resident rights, and negotiated risk work differently than acute care, and this role assumes you already know that landscape. Working knowledge of state AL/MC regulations — or a demonstrated ability to learn a new state's rules quickly. Valid driver's license and comfort with travel, including air travel. Strong command of EHR and eMAR systems. Clear writing and organization. Your recommendations are only as useful as your ability to put them on paper.
