Job Description
BARC Developmental Services is a non-profit agency providing support to individuals having intellectual disabilities. Sign-on-Bonus $1500.00 & paid time off. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Home Manager in an ICF home in our Residential Services Department. The home is located in the Sellersville, PA area. The Assistant Home Manager is responsible the direct support and supervision of adults with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include building therapeutic relationships, providing personal care, cooking and other related support activities. Direct support will occur in both home and community settings as directed by Home Manager and Program Manager. Shifts may include early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekends. The Assistant Home Manager is expected to alternate weekend shift duties with the Home Manager to ensure consistent supervision coverage and support. While generally assigned to one home, the Assistant Home Manager may be reassigned to other homes as needed. The Assistant Home Manager is the working supervisor in the absence of the Home Manager. This means becoming trained in the duties of the Home Manager as well as acting as the working supervisor for shifts when the Home Manager is not present.
