Duties Supervise and manage the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring high-quality meal preparation and service. Develop and implement individualized care plans that include nutritional assessments and tube feeding protocols as necessary. Lead health coaching initiatives to educate residents on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess residents' dietary needs and preferences. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that all dietary requirements are met in accordance with medical guidelines. Manage budgeting for the dietary department, including inventory control and cost-effective purchasing of food supplies. Train, mentor, and supervise dietary staff to maintain a cohesive team focused on delivering exceptional service. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen and dining areas. Qualifications Proven experience in a dietary management role, preferably within an assisted living or healthcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and experience in developing care plans for residents. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents, families, and staff. Familiarity with budgeting processes related to food service operations.
