Job Summary The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing high-quality care to residents. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Supervise staff across various departments, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Oversee budgeting and financial management to ensure efficient use of resources. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents. Foster a positive environment that promotes resident dignity, independence, and well-being. Engage with families and residents to address concerns and improve service delivery. Implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and quality of care. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in senior care management. Skills Proven experience in LTC or SNF settings. Strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and dementia care. Expertise in nursing practices related to senior care and medication administration. Excellent management skills with experience supervising staff in long-term care environments. Proficient in operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals. Experience in home & community care as well as group home or retirement home settings is preferred. Knowledge of social work principles as they relate to senior living environments.
