Our client is a mission-driven organization with a strong reputation for resident care, associate engagement, and operational discipline. The identity of the client will be disclosed to qualified candidates during the screening process. About the Opportunity The Executive Director is the senior leader of the community and holds full P&L accountability for clinical quality, occupancy, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and associate engagement. This is a high-visibility role reporting to regional operations leadership, with a clear runway for advancement into multi-site and regional positions for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Own community-level P&L, including revenue growth, expense management, and capital planning Drive occupancy through partnership with the sales team, local referral development across the Greater Houston healthcare and senior services network, and conversion accountability Ensure clinical and regulatory compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) assisted living standards, including survey readiness and plan of correction execution when needed Lead, develop, and retain a department head team across nursing, sales, business office, life enrichment, dining, and maintenance Cultivate a culture of resident-centered care, family engagement, and associate experience aligned with the client's mission and service standards Manage vendor, agency, and contract relationships in accordance with corporate policy Partner with regional and corporate leaders on workforce planning, budget cycles, and strategic initiatives Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years as an Executive Director, Administrator, or General Manager in assisted living, memory care, or a comparable senior living setting Active Texas Assisted Living Manager Certification (Type B) or ability to obtain within the timeframe required by HHSC; LNFA licensure a plus Demonstrated P&L ownership of a community with annual revenue of $5M or greater Proven track record of occupancy growth, NOI improvement, and team retention Working knowledge of Texas Administrative Code Chapter 553 (Licensing Standards for Assisted Living Facilities), Resident Rights statutes, and applicable Medicaid

waiver dynamics where relevant Familiarity with the Greater Houston referral landscape, including hospital systems, home health partners, and senior placement networks Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or industry certification (CALA, RCAL, CDP) preferred Preferred Profile Experience leading a community through stabilization, repositioning, or census recovery Memory care programming experience and familiarity with evidence-based dementia care models Background working within a multi-site operator with structured KPI and reporting cadences Established professional network within the Houston-Sugar Land-Katy-Pearland senior care market Compensation and Benefits Our client offers a competitive base salary in the range of $85,000 - 95,000, performance-based annual bonus, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, paid time off, and relocation assistance for candidates outside the Greater Houston area.
