Job Description
Senior Healthcare Administrator - Investigative Specialist Are you a licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a strong clinical foundation as a Registered Nurse? If you're seeking a new challenge that goes beyond day-to-day operations and allows you to apply your expertise in a more analytical, high-impact way, this opportunity may be the right fit. This role is designed for experienced leaders in long-term care who want to leverage their operational and clinical knowledge to evaluate complex situations, assess standards of care, and contribute to meaningful outcomes across the industry. What You'll Do Review and analyze cases involving long-term care facilities Evaluate clinical and operational decision-making against industry standards Develop clear, well-supported written findings Contribute to case development and, when needed, provide professional opinions This position focuses on understanding the "why" behind outcomes —digging into processes, clinical judgment, and administrative decisions to form objective, evidence-based conclusions. Why This Role Stands Out Apply your full clinical and administrative background in a new way Work alongside a team of highly experienced professionals Engage in intellectually rigorous, case-based work Expand your expertise into a specialized field Locations Florida (South Florida & Palm Beach area), Ohio, and Texas What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN required; advanced degree a plus) Active Nursing Home Administrator license Active Registered Nurse (RN) license 5+ years of leadership experience in long-term care (SNF, ALF, rehab, memory care, etc.) 10+ years of clinical RN experience, with strong exposure to wound care and patient safety Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills Additional Experience (Preferred) Wound care certifications (e.g., WCC, CWON) Experience in teaching, precepting, or staff development Background in correctional healthcare or emergency medical services Work Structure Approximately 20% travel (site visits/inspections) Majority of work focused on independent analysis and report development Combination of autonomous work and team collaboration Additional Requirements Clean background check Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed If you're ready to step into a role that challenges your thinking and allows you to apply your expertise in a broader, more impactful way, we encourage you to apply.
