Richmond Health Care Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA) to provide strong leadership across all areas of our skilled nursing facility. We are looking for a well-rounded leader who understands that a successful facility begins with quality resident care, engaged employees, regulatory excellence, responsible operations, and trusted relationships with families and the surrounding healthcare community. An important focus of this role will be supporting Richmond's census-development initiative. The right Administrator will know how to strengthen the facility's reputation, build referral relationships, support the Admissions and Marketing teams, and position the building for sustainable growth, while always keeping resident care and quality outcomes at the center of every decision. The Leader We Are Seeking The ideal candidate is a visible, hands-on Administrator who can: Build, develop, and retain a strong department-head team Create a positive culture of communication, teamwork, and accountability Support excellent clinical outcomes and consistent survey readiness Strengthen relationships with residents, families, employees, and referral partners Partner effectively with Admissions and Marketing to support appropriate census growth Identify operational challenges and lead practical, sustainable improvements Balance quality, staffing, compliance, employee engagement, and financial performance Represent Richmond Health Care Center positively throughout the community Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific examples of how they have improved facility performance, strengthened teams, developed referral relationships, or supported census growth in previous skilled nursing leadership roles. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and operational oversight for the facility Promote a resident-centered culture focused on dignity, safety, service, and quality Recruit, mentor, and develop department leaders and facility employees Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local skilled nursing regulations Support clinical excellence, Quality Measures, survey readiness, and performance-improvement initiatives Partner with Nursing, Admissions, Marketing, Therapy, Social Services, and other departments Develop strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, managed care partners, and community referral sources Support timely referral review, effective admissions processes, and a positive transition experience for residents and families Monitor staffing, labor, agency utilization, expenses, reimbursement, and overall financial performance Analyze operational trends and implement appropriate improvement plans Maintain open communication with residents, families, employees, referral partners, and company leadership Ensure census-development efforts remain aligned with the facility's clinical capabilities, staffing resources, and commitment to quality care Required Qualifications Active Texas Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator license in good standing Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility Strong knowledge of SNF operations, regulatory compliance, reimbursement, and survey readiness Demonstrated ability to lead teams and improve operational performance Experience supporting business development, referral relationships, admissions, or census initiatives Strong communication, problem-solving, financial-management, and team-development skills Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, PDPM, and Quality Measures What We Offer Competitive executive-level compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contributions Paid time off Company-paid life insurance Support from regional and corporate leadership The opportunity to lead meaningful improvements and help shape the future of Richmond Health Care Center If you are an experienced skilled nursing leader who is passionate about resident care, employee development, operational excellence, and responsible facility growth, we would love to speak with you.
