As the Group Home Manager, your main areas of focus will include coordinating client care and helping them achieve their goals as well as fostering a productive partnership between clients and staff. Responsibilities Oversee the supports and needs of 3 individuals in the home Be familiar with client's goals and work together to help them make progress toward achieving them Set and maintain clear, appropriate boundaries with the clients Coordinate client care and complete client hours as assigned Assist clients with engaging in their hobbies, recreational activities, and community events Manage the ongoing training, supervision, and support of all staff in your assigned program Report any related concerns and be prepared with proposed action plans Oversee crisis management and conflict resolution Complete compliance reviews Attend relevant meetings Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation Set up medical appointments for clients and provide reliable transportation Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred Be able to work typical 40 hour/week schedule, as well as be available for emergencies after hours Must be 21 years old Be able to pass a federal criminal background check Must maintain a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance/registration Reliable transportation and ability to transport clients in personal vehicle
