Job Description

An established senior living organization is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead an assisted living and memory care community in the Herndon, VA area. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the community, including regulatory compliance, financial performance, occupancy growth, employee engagement, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a proven track record in senior living operations and team development. Responsibilities Oversee daily community operations Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Lead occupancy growth through marketing and community outreach Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational goals Recruit, develop, and retain department leaders and staff Promote exceptional resident care, customer service, and employee engagement Build strong relationships with residents, families, and referral partners Qualifications Current Virginia ALFA or LNHA license required Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field Three or more years of leadership experience in assisted living Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and operations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Successful candidates must complete all required pre-employment screenings, including background check, drug screening, employment verification, and licensure verification.

$140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
