Job Description
Lead a Trusted Senior Living Community Since 1988, Tall Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care has provided comfortable senior apartments and compassionate assisted living services in Reston, Virginia. We are committed to creating a welcoming community where residents receive exceptional care and team members are valued. We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide strategic leadership for our assisted living and memory care community. This role is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the community, including regulatory compliance, financial performance, occupancy growth, employee engagement, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a proven track record of operational excellence and team development in senior living. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the community Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Drive occupancy growth through marketing, sales, and community outreach Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational goals Recruit, develop, and retain department leaders and team members Foster exceptional resident care, customer service, and employee engagement Build strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and community partners Qualifications Current Virginia Assisted Living Facility Administrator (ALFA) or Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Three or more years of leadership experience in assisted living or senior living operations Strong knowledge of Virginia assisted living regulations and operations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Successful candidates must complete all required pre-employment screenings, including a background check, drug screening, employment verification, and licensure verification.
