The Client Financial Manager is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant management of client-related financial activities . This position plays a critical role in ensuring that client bills are paid on time, financial records are accurate and current, required requests and documentation are submitted by established deadlines, and client funds are managed in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements. This is a position for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and understands that financial deadlines are not optional . The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple client accounts and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and accountability. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and detail-driven, with the ability to identify discrepancies, follow established financial procedures, meet recurring deadlines, and ensure that financial responsibilities are completed correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of client financial responsibilities from start to finish , ensuring tasks are completed accurately, documented appropriately, and within required deadlines. Maintain and track client bills and financial obligations to ensure timely payment and prevent missed or overdue expenses . Monitor recurring financial deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding information, signatures, approvals, or documentation needed to complete financial transactions. Prepare monthly ledgers, complete data entry, obtain required signatures, and perform account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. Create and submit monthly Residential Allowance Requests accurately and within established timelines . Review financial records and transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or potential financial issues and take appropriate action to resolve them promptly . Create and maintain annual client financial plans and ensure they remain accurate and up to date. Review and coordinate financial requests with representative payees and case resource managers, ensuring appropriate communication and follow-through. Maintain organized, current, and audit-ready client financial records and documentation. Provide financial and administrative support to the management team, including tracking and following through on assigned financial projects. Assist with project management related to client financial services, including monitoring timelines and ensuring deliverables are completed as expected. Facilitate financial policy and procedure training for employees and promote consistent adherence to established financial practices. Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client financial information. Meet all required internal and external deadlines consistently and communicate promptly when an issue may affect completion. Perform other duties as assigned. Client financial information is handled with professionalism, confidentiality, and care. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities without losing attention to detail . Demonstrated ability to take ownership of responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion . High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial records, documentation, and data entry. Strong ability to establish priorities, track deadlines, and consistently meet time-sensitive requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong follow-up skills and the ability to communicate proactively when information, approvals, or documentation are outstanding. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook . Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personal and financial information. Ability to identify errors or discrepancies and take appropriate steps to resolve them. Prior experience in financial management, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounting, or administrative support preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
