Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to join our team in the AM, PM, or NOC shifts. In this vital role, you will oversee the well-being and daily care of residents in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care settings. Your leadership will ensure that residents receive personalized support while maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including helping residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs regularly to ensure residents' health stability. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed documentation. Support residents with cognitive disabilities, including those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, through specialized memory care techniques and behavioral management strategies. Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and prevent injury. Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to infection control standards and cleaning protocols. Communicate effectively with residents' families, healthcare providers, and team members to coordinate personalized care plans. Follow all safety procedures including first aid, CPR certification requirements, and safe patient lifting practices. Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met in accordance with dietary guidelines. Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in assisting with ADLs and providing senior or dementia care. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic first aid/CPR certification is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is advantageous. Ability to operate standard passenger cars for transportation purposes when necessary. Strong manual handling skills including safe patient lifting practices such as Hoyer lifts or similar equipment. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and long shifts on your feet while maintaining energy and enthusiasm. $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
