We offer high-quality training and assistance with continuing education units. A scholarship program is available to pay for needed caregiving certificates and AFH administrative training. We have a great team of caregivers and managers. We are looking to add compassionate, hard-working, honest, and reliable caregivers and managers to our expanding family business of AFH in Clark County, WA. Certifications to have or able to obtain include: CNA, CPR/First Aide, Nurse Delegation, Diabetes Delegation, WA State Mental Health and Dementia Specialty Training, and Food Handlers permit. Must speak English, pass a background check, pass urine drug test, and have good references. We are a licensed adult family home that provides seniors with compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a loving home environment. The home is warm, welcoming, and spacious. Each resident has their private bedroom and bathroom with access to the patio for wildlife viewing or watching the sunsets. It is owned and operated by a family of medical and business professionals who appreciate the work caregivers do on a daily basis. The job duties include assistance with medications and treatments, ADL's, hygiene, documentation, companionship, meals, and household chores.
Administrative duties include:
office management, chart and documentation audit, scheduling, inventory, medication refills, office and record-keeping, on-call to cover sick call shifts, updating care plans, communicating with staff, family, and doctors' offices, duties as assigned. Training caregivers. De-escalating behaviors. Team building. Training available for experienced caregivers for administrative duties.
