We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents, foster a positive and supportive environment, and manage a dedicated team of caregiving professionals. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, implementing individualized care plans, and promoting residents' well-being. Duties Lead and supervise staff members to deliver exceptional resident-centered care in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines. Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs, including those with dementia or memory impairments. Oversee medication administration, ensuring safety protocols are followed accurately and efficiently. Manage daily operations of the group home, including budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to ensure smooth functioning. Foster a safe, welcoming environment that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life for residents. Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements, health regulations, and organizational policies through regular audits and staff training. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, social workers, and community resources to support residents' holistic well-being. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory or management experience in long-term care or home & community care environments. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care best practices. Familiarity with developing and managing care plans, medication protocols, and resident safety procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee operations management including budgeting and resource planning. Compassionate approach combined with strong communication skills to engage residents' families and multidisciplinary teams effectively. Relevant certifications such as nursing license (RN/LPN), social work credentials, or other healthcare qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
