Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Shift Lead to oversee daily operations at our assisted living community. The Shift Lead will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, compassionate, and efficient environment for residents. This position requires strong team leadership skills to coordinate staff, manage resident care, and uphold community standards during assigned shifts. Responsibilities Lead and supervise staff members during your designated shift, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Oversee the delivery of quality care to residents, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Coordinate daily activities, including medication administration, resident assistance, and safety protocols. Monitor the community's environment to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and management to address concerns and facilitate teamwork. Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations promptly and efficiently. Ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times. Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing support to team members as needed. Participate in an on-call rotation and receive a $150.00 bonus for each completed on-call week. Requirements Proven experience in a caregiving or supervisory role within an assisted living or similar healthcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff professionally. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations appropriately. Knowledge of safety protocols, health regulations, and best practices in assisted living environments. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to ensure continuous coverage at the facility. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life. $19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
