Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Director to lead our assisted living community. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of long-term care operations, with a focus on senior care, memory care, and dementia services. As the Executive Director, you will oversee all aspects of facility management, ensuring compliance with health regulations, delivering exceptional resident care, and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff alike. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency within a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring adherence to state and federal long-term care regulations. Manage financial aspects including budgeting, financial management, and healthcare financial oversight to promote fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Supervise and support care facility teams, including nursing staff, social workers, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, ensuring personalized attention and quality of life. Ensure compliance with health regulation policies related to medication administration, resident safety, disability services, and infection control standards. Oversee resident engagement programs that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being tailored to residents' needs. Maintain effective communication with residents' families and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and address concerns promptly. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, staff scheduling, and operational planning to streamline facility management processes. Qualifications Extensive experience in nursing home administration or long-term care management within assisted living or senior living facilities. Demonstrated expertise in Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and home & community care services. Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and health policy compliance requirements. Proven leadership skills with supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare settings. Proficiency in healthcare financial management including budgeting and financial acumen related to residential care homes or group homes. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and disability services experience is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop effective care plans while managing multiple priorities efficiently. Competence in using Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks; experience with healthcare software systems is preferred.
