  • 55,000 per year Plus Performance & Occupancy Bonus Opportunities Position Summary Woodland Hills Assisted Living is seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Director/Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our family-owned 23-bed assisted living community.
The Executive Director will be responsible for staff leadership, scheduling, hiring, resident satisfaction, family communication, admissions, occupancy growth, and regulatory compliance. This position reports directly to ownership and will serve as the primary leader of the facility's daily operations. We are seeking someone who enjoys building teams, solving problems, supporting staff, and creating a positive environment for residents and families. Responsibilities Staffing & Leadership Create and maintain employee schedules Manage daily staffing needs and call-offs Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees Conduct employee evaluations and performance coaching Manage disciplinary actions when necessary Maintain adequate staffing levels at all times Foster a positive and accountable workplace culture Resident & Family Relations Serve as primary contact for residents and families Address concerns and resolve issues promptly Conduct resident assessments with nursing staff as needed Coordinate admissions and move-ins Assist with resident retention initiatives Operations Management Oversee day-to-day facility operations Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies Conduct routine facility rounds Coordinate maintenance and vendor services Monitor inventory and supplies Ensure documentation and records are completed appropriately Census Growth & Marketing Conduct facility tours Follow up with prospective residents and families Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physicians, and community partners Assist ownership with occupancy growth initiatives Help maintain strong community reputation and online presence Financial Oversight Monitor labor costs and staffing efficiency Assist ownership with budgeting Review invoices and operational expenses Support profitability and occupancy goals Qualifications Required Minimum associate degree Minimum 2 years of management experience Experience hiring, scheduling, and supervising employees Strong communication and leadership skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and make decisions Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email Preferred Assisted living, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or long-term care experience Experience with employee scheduling systems Experience with admissions, marketing, or occupancy management Previous administrator or executive director experience Compensation Base Salary $50,000
