The Opportunity The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for multiple full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning faculty positions as Lecturer in the Department of Nursing Systems. The selected candidates will teach nursing leadership and management courses, primarily in the online MSN-Leadership and Management program, the DNP-Executive programs, and other programs as assigned. The positions will be located on the UCF Academic Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona and are expected to start Fall 2027.The appropriate rank (lecturer, associate lecturer, or senior lecturer) will be determined based upon the selected candidates' credentials and prior experience. The selected candidates will work collaboratively with colleagues, remain actively involved in professional organizations, and actively participate in College of Nursing faculty governance.

Responsibilities include:

Teach online courses in the MSN -Leadership and Management Program, DNP -Executive Program, and other graduate or undergraduate courses as assigned and qualified. Plan, organize, and deliver instruction that supports student learning and success. Support the College of Nursing mission and departmental efforts to advance excellence in teaching and learning. Collaborate with the department chair and faculty colleagues to plan, develop, and improve courses and curricula. Advise and mentor students and, as appropriate to rank, support adjunct faculty and early-career faculty. Lecturer:

Earned doctorate in nursing or a health-related field from an accredited institution at he time of application. Graduate degree in nursing (master's degree in nursing if doctoral degree is not in nursing). Unencumbered RN license. Florida licensure expected by date of hire; with multi-state endorsement expected by date of hire. Documented teaching experience (online, hybrid, and/or classroom) in an academic setting. Associate Lecturer:

Earned doctorate in nursing or a health-related field from an accredited institution at the time of application. Graduate degree in nursing (master's degree in nursing if doctoral degree is not in nursing). Unencumbered RN license. Florida licensure expected by date of hire; with multi-state endorsement expected by date of hire. Five or more years of full-time academic teaching experience (online, hybrid, and/or classroom) at the baccalaureate level or above as demonstrated on CV. Senior Lecturer:

Earned doctorate in nursing or a health-related field from an accredited institution at the time of application.
