Responsibilities include:

Teaching Medical-Surgical Nursing courses in classroom, lab, and clinical settings Supervising and evaluating students during clinical experiences Developing course materials, examinations, and learning activities Providing academic support and mentorship to students Participating in curriculum development and continuous program improvement Collaborating with faculty, clinical partners, and healthcare organizations Maintaining relationships with clinical agencies and community partners Supporting student recruitment, retention, and program success initiatives Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Nursing Current nursing practice experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or eligibility for an unencumbered Florida RN license Current CPR certification Ability to teach nursing coursework and supervise students in clinical environments Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience Experience serving as a preceptor, mentor, charge nurse, clinical educator, or staff development specialist Strong Medical-Surgical nursing background About Seminole State College Seminole State College is recognized for excellence in student success and workforce education and was named a finalist for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
