Immediately Upon Hire Position Overview ATA College is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) to join our Nursing Program as a Full-Time Nursing Instructor. We are seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and technologically proficient nurse educator who is passionate about preparing future nurses for safe and successful clinical practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in Medical-Surgical Nursing and/or Critical Care Nursing , along with previous nursing education and teaching experience. This is a full-time teaching position with an immediate start upon hire . Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday and have the flexibility necessary to meet the instructional and operational needs of the Nursing Program. The Full-Time Nursing Instructor will provide classroom instruction, support skills and simulation-based learning, evaluate student performance, mentor and support nursing students, and collaborate with nursing faculty and program leadership to promote student success and achievement of program outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide classroom instruction to nursing students in assigned nursing courses. Teach nursing concepts with an emphasis on clinical judgment, critical thinking, prioritization, and safe patient care . Develop and deliver engaging learning activities that support course and program student learning outcomes. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the learning needs of nursing students. Assist students in applying theoretical nursing concepts to clinical practice. Develop, administer, grade, and evaluate student assessments in accordance with Nursing Program policies. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students regarding academic performance and opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate student attendance, grades, academic records, and required documentation. Identify students who may be academically at risk and provide appropriate support, remediation, and referrals. Utilize educational technology and learning management systems as part of daily instruction. Collaborate with faculty to maintain consistency and continuity throughout the nursing curriculum. Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum meetings, professional development activities, and Nursing Program events. Participate in ongoing program evaluation, curriculum development, quality improvement, and accreditation activities. Maintain professional and appropriate communication with students, faculty, administration, and other members of the college community. Promote a professional, respectful, supportive, and student-centered learning environment. Assist with skills laboratory and simulation activities as needed. Perform additional faculty responsibilities as assigned by Nursing Program leadership. Required Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution

Strong knowledge of the nursing process, clinical judgment, evidence-based practice, and current standards of nursing care. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative nursing faculty team. Ability to effectively teach, mentor, and support nursing students from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Must be available to work Monday through Friday . Technology Requirements The successful candidate must be comfortable utilizing technology as an essential component of nursing education and daily faculty responsibilities.
Candidates must:
Be proficient with computers and general technology. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel . Be comfortable communicating and completing faculty responsibilities electronically. Be able to navigate online learning and educational platforms. Have the ability and willingness to learn and effectively utilize ATI and Canvas . Be comfortable entering and maintaining grades, attendance, student documentation, and course materials electronically. Be able to learn new educational technology and platforms as program needs evolve. Demonstrate strong overall technology proficiency, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems . Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching Medical-Surgical Nursing and/or Critical Care Nursing . Experience teaching in an Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) or other prelicensure nursing program . Experience utilizing ATI educational resources, assessments, and remediation tools. Experience utilizing Canvas or another learning management system. Experience with simulation-based nursing education. Experience with curriculum development and student assessment. Experience with nursing program accreditation and continuous program improvement. Previous experience as a nursing faculty member, clinical instructor, nurse educator, or preceptor. Schedule This is a full-time faculty position . Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday and have the flexibility to meet the instructional, student, faculty, and operational needs of the Nursing Program.
