Develop, review, and update curriculum materials using learning management systems such as Blackboard and LMS platforms to ensure alignment with current industry standards. Design innovative teaching strategies utilizing simulation methods and online instruction tools to enhance experiential learning. Collaborate with hospital staff, nursing management, and academic colleagues to coordinate clinical placements and ensure compliance with educational regulations. Guide students in creating care plans for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adult care, ICU, primary care, senior care, and acute care scenarios. Requirements Proven supervising experience in clinical or educational settings within healthcare or nursing education. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices, and nursing procedures across various specialties such as critical care, pediatrics, primary care, and acute care. Experience working with post-secondary students in higher education environments or college faculty roles. Familiarity with learning technology platforms like Blackboard and LMS for online instruction and curriculum development. Strong background in patient care with hands-on experience in hospital settings such as ICU or medical-surgical units; ICU experience is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
