Responsibilities Educate nurse aide students according to the state of Georgia guidelines. Collaborate with Program Director/Administrator to assist students be successful in the NATP. Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for students and instructors. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in long-term care and assisted living a must for at least one year. Georgia Train-the-trainer course completion and certificate. Proof of liability insurance. Basic Life Support certification. Experience with teaching adult learners. Knowledge of medical terminology, activity of daily living skills, basic computer skills, and basic life support techniques. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work in various healthcare settings including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Experience in specialties such as geriatrics, hospice care, or mental health is a plus.
